MILD STEEL

Mild (regular) steel combines iron with carbon and it is the most important commercial steel alloy. It is applicable in almost every industry around the world, such as chemical, automotive, aircraft, aerospace, etc. Mild steels are classified based on the amount of carbon content in the steel as: mild and low carbon steel, medium carbon steel, high carbon steel, and ultra-high carbon steel.

Steel, in general, will not easily rot and is frequently used because it is durable, safe and cost-effective. But mild steel needs to be protected prior exposing it to the internal conditions. If used outside, standard powder coating will not protect panel if it’s directly exposed to weather conditions such as rain, snow, sun light, etc.

If you would like to use powder coated mild steel outdoor and directly exposed to weather conditions such as rain, snow, sun light, etc., we can make it happen, we would need to use a special chemical treatment prior to powder coating and it would be considered a customized request.

Check our standard colors or choose any other non-standard color, everything’s up to you and your imagination. Non-standard colors are an extra charge.
